We went to the Georgia Supercross over the weekend and it was awesome! The Georgia Dome was a great venue, very clean and well laid out. Besides the racing, one of the best parts of the evening was the opening ceremonies. They had the Dome rockin! They had all sorts of fireworks, flame throwers, lasers, loud music, and motorcycle riders doing jumps with only a single spot light to show the way. One of the flame throwers had me very impressed. It sat over the starting gate and shot five flames of different colors into the air (See the photo below). It was really cool!
The Georgia Dome experience was a first for me. Also a first for me, perhaps a first for generations of my family, was the way we left the building. Instead of busting out of the building as fast as humanly possible in order to get to the car and out of the city before the inevitable post race traffic jam, we left the building leisurely. What was the reason for the difference? This time our car was parked at the hotel only a skip away from the Dome, very nice!
The Atlanta Supercross, what a fun event!

Where on Earth?
Where on earth can you find more baby bellies than you even thought possible, as if every one in the entire world had one? That is right, Babies-R-Us! Kristen and I visited the Jacksonville Babies-R-Us over the weekend and took our own baby belly. Surprisingly, I felt better there than in the incredibly overwhelming Bed, Bath, and Beyond. While shopping for baby goods, we ran into a 5' 2'' giant of a sales woman. She was amazing in her knowledge, energy, and strength. While learning how to fold down and re-expand a stroller, I was struggling a little. The small giant offered to demonstrate. She positioned her small frame over the stroller, then with one motion--and with one arm--she expanded the stroller, lifting it above her head until it locked into strolling position. Wow! I was impressed! I was a little ashamed, too, that I could not complete such a simple task--a person of my height would not even require overhead stroller acrobatics. In the end we decided on a stroller we liked and headed home to a place with far fewer baby bellies.

It's a...!
Last Saturday, Brandon and I went to a local yard sale and found some fun baby clothes. We had a ton of fun going through all of the piles in the blistery cold Georgia morning. It was down to 27, I promise. Check out our super find below.
